About me

With over a decade of experience in accounting and taxation, I am both a passionate educator and the owner of a thriving CPA firm. As a Professor of Accounting and Taxation at San Francisco State University, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring and educating countless students and aspiring professionals in the field. While I take great pride in shaping the next generation of accounting experts, I am equally dedicated to providing a wide array of services beyond the classroom and contributing to the community.

I have thoroughly enjoyed working with various individual and business clients, delivering hands-on, personalized supports in taxes, accounting, and consulting. My aim is to foster a welcoming, stress-free environment for clients, even when navigating complex financial challenges. With my extensive background, I approach tax and financial matters from both an academic and practical standpoint, ensuring that my clients receive strategic, tailored solutions.

I hold both an MBA and a Ph.D. in Accounting. I am a licensed CPA and an IRS-registered tax preparer, as well as a certified bookkeeper through Intuit (QuickBooks). Additionally, I am an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Accounting Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the California Board of Accountancy.
